The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) is a group of about 40 faculty, 140 graduate students and post-doctoral research associates, over 300 undergraduate majors, and a large number of staff and specialists. The department is the focal point for biochemistry and molecular biology teaching and research on campus.
BMB is a great place to study physical, computational, and analytical biochemistry, intermediary metabolism, photosynthesis, enzyme characterization and kinetics, toxicology, immunochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels.
We have great people who can talk to you, whatever your interest in our department. I encourage you to contact us if you are curious about what we do and whether you would like to join us as a student, researcher, or donor.
