Graduate Training Opportunities
Positions for graduate training of Ph.D. students are currently available in the laboratory. Our research offers an unusually multidisciplinary approach, with comprehensive training in molecular biology, biochemistry, molecular genetics, and development. How to apply: Students entering through the Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, or Genetics Programs (www.bch.msu.edu, www.ns.msu.edu/cmb, and http://www.ns.msu.edu/genetics/) will have the opportunity to work as rotation students in the laboratory in their first year, and join the laboratory at the end of the first year. Students entering the program with a master's degree have the possibility of choosing a laboratory directly.

Undergraduate Opportunities
Throughout the year, we have a number of undergraduates carrying out independent research in our laboratory. Talented, motivated undergraduates interested in carrying out research projects are invited to apply for a position. Undergraduates working in the laboratory have also joined through the summer NSF undergraduate research program (see http://www.mth.msu.edu/Related/ubm/index.htm). If you are interested in a research opportunity, please bring your resume with relevant educational, lab, and other experience to 413 Biochemistry. The Arnosti lab also employs students on student payroll for washing laboratory glassware, making solutions, and helping with laboratory organization. Reliability and attention to detail is essential! Many of the Arnosti laboratory student payroll helpers continue on to carry out independent research projects later in their college careers.
