Jianjun Luo, a BMB doctoral student, joined the program in Fall 2004 and began working in the Kuo lab in Spring 2005. He earned a master's degree from the Chinese Academy of Science Institute of Botany, and his bachelor's from China Agricultural University. He is currently working on Characterizing histone H3 mutations that affected chromatin metabolism in the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. |

Xiaobo Li, a BMB doctoral student, began his career at MSU in May 2008, having earned his bachelor of engineering degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2007. He is currently working on the tricylglycerol metabolism in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, a model green alga. He is focusing on characterizing putative tricylglycerol lipases in Chlamydomonas and mutants which showed abnormal tricylglycerol levels. In his free time, Xiaobo enjoys surfing the net, karaoke, and cooking. |
