The Sharkey Lab is proud to be a member of the GLBRC, a $125 million project funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.

The GLBRC is unique among the 3 total DOE Bioenergy Research Centers in that it is the only one that is based in a university setting, as a joint project of the University of Wisconsin-Madison & Michigan State University.

Research
The Sharkey Lab is active in many areas of plant biochemistry research, including biofuels, gas exchange, isoprene emission, hemiterpene synthesis & thermotolerance.
