Diverse Program Choices:

Joint programs with Cell and Molecular Biology, Center for Integrative Toxicology, Chemistry, Genetics, Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Plant Research Laboratory, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Physiology, Physics , Quantitative Biology Initiative, and with the Van Andel Research Institute in Grand Rapids, MI.

Unique Research Emphases:

Genes and Regulation; Structural and Computational Biology; Plant Biochemistry.

Generous Stipend Support:

The stipend is $22,308 in 2009. Tuition costs and health insurance are also covered. Outstanding students are eligible for generous supplemental funds as well as the MSU Distinguished Fellowship Program.

Computation and Graphics; Confocal Microscopy; Flow Cytometry; Genomics Technology; Macromolecular Structure; Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics; Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, X-ray Crystallography.
